One of my favorite paperback artists of the '70s is Tim Kirk, perhaps best known for his work with DAW and his brilliant Lord of the Rings paintings. After leaving the world of fandom, Kirk went on to become an Imagineer at Disney and board member of the Science Fiction Museum in Seattle.
